Try General Mings Yazu+ Citron Tea Wings to add the flowery scent of a Korean fruit orchard to this all time favourite.
Ingredients:
12 chicken wings (we prefer organic free-range chicken for better taste)
11/2 tbsp General Mings Yazu+ Citron Tea
2 1/2 tbsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
21/2 tbsp mirin, dry sherry or sweet Marsala
1/2 tbsp salt
Pepper to taste (we prefer just a hint)
1-3 tbsp General Mings Yazu+ Citron Tea for glazing
Instructions:
Marinate the wings with General MIngs Yazu+ Citron Tea, Tamari or soy sauce, cooking wine and salt and pepper air-sealed in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Air-fry the wings in an air-fryer at 325 F for 10-15 mins. Turn over the wings after 5 mins, glaze. Then at the last min, turn over the wings again and glaze.
If baking the wings is preferred – Preheat the oven to 325 F, melt your oil of choice on the baking sheet. Place the wings on the baking sheet and bake for 50-60 minutes- turn them over 10 minutes before done and glaze.
Place the wings on serving plate, glaze one more time.
Best served hot. Enjoy!
I tried this at home and it came out better than I had ever expected. I did add a small amount of hot paste (gochujang) which gave it more kick. Looking forward to the next recipe.
